Frenzied Whispers

This performance example was filmed in the midst of the pandemic for Naxos America’s Classical Music Day. It is the 1st movement, titled Frenzied Whispers, from my “Looping Concerto for Violin, Electronics, and Orchestra."  The entire concerto is a five movement work centered on looping melodic material between soloist and symphony where all technology and additional electronics are triggered by soloist on stage.  The intent with many of my compositions is the ability for performance in a variety of ways whether it be solo with looping pedals, with orchestra or with a variety of musicians in differing formations with accompanying art visuals.
