Broken Paradigm

Broken Paradigm is the cinematic, independent industrial art rock debut album by Austin, Texas-based multimedia collective Razed by Rebels. Released on November 15, 2025, the 9-track concept album functions like a "sonic novel" set within a gritty, dystopian sci-fi universe.

The narrative follows a central character navigating an era of societal collapse, ideological conflict, and personal sacrifice. The title refers to a "flawed ideal," mapping the protagonist's struggle as he challenges broken systems and ultimately pays the highest price for his convictions.

Musically, it is frequently compared to a blend of Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and Muse. It features heavy, distorted guitars, razor-sharp synthesizers, aggressive industrial beats, and brooding ambient textures.

The album was recorded as a collaborative effort across three prominent Texas studios: Blue Rock Artist Ranch and Studio, Orb Recording Studios, and The Finishing School in Austin. Conceived by writer and producer Jason Winfield alongside co-producer/engineer Juan Lopez, the recording approach utilized these distinct environments to shape a cinematic soundscape featuring a diverse roster of local guest musicians and vocalists

The complete tracklist spans nine songs, including the hard-hitting opener "Until It's Over" and the atmospheric closer "Heaven's Gate".
