“Where Love Begins Again” is a symphonic work with piano structured in four interconnected sections that reflect the process of parenthood, understood as a transformation from initial decision to the emergence of new life.

The composition unfolds within a modal environment centered on D Lydian, whose expansive and luminous quality serves as the sonic axis of the work. From this center, the harmonic discourse evolves as a representation of different internal states associated with this process.

The first section is built around the relationship between degrees I and vi, creating an unstable equilibrium that suggests both decision and doubt. The second expands the harmonic field through degrees II and III, introducing greater luminosity and a progressive growth in orchestral texture, reflecting emotional expansion and openness toward the unknown.

The third section, conceived as the structural core, develops the progression II–vi–I–V, where initial instability evolves toward a transient resolution. This process intensifies through a gradual increase in density and energy, forming the point of maximum transformation within the work.

The final section revisits the initial material in a transformed state, returning to the I–vi framework as a space of intimacy and reflection. The work concludes on a suspended D sus sonority, avoiding full resolution and suggesting an open future yet to be defined.

Without adopting a literal narrative approach, the work presents an evolving structure in which harmonic and textural development translates the different stages of becoming a parent into musical form.
