Cōnstellatiō is a New Age instrumental album conceived as a sonic and emotional journey through space, memory, and time. The work blends synthesized soundscapes with orchestral writing, creating an immersive environment where electronic textures and acoustic forces coexist as a single expressive language.
The album consists of seven instrumental pieces, each representing a distinct phase of an inner and outer voyage. The narrative follows an astronaut who travels into deep space, gradually losing her sense of orientation as she drifts through the vastness of the universe. As the journey unfolds, the music reflects isolation, wonder, and the overwhelming scale of the cosmos through evolving textures, harmonic suspension, and expansive timbral layers.
In the final stages of the work, the astronaut attempts to return home. Rather than retracing her path, she is drawn into a black hole, where time collapses and perception dissolves. When she emerges, she finds herself back in her own room. Upon looking into the mirror, she discovers that the journey has not only been spatial but temporal. She is now a child wearing an astronaut suit, suggesting that the entire voyage represents a return to the origin of imagination, innocence, and identity.
Musically, Cōnstellatiō is constructed around the interaction between synthesizers and orchestra. Electronic elements provide atmosphere, continuity, and a sense of infinite space, while orchestral writing introduces emotional weight, human breath, and structural definition. Each piece functions as a self contained chapter while contributing to a continuous arc shaped by gradual transformation rather than abrupt contrast.
The work was premiered at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, where it received a strong and positive reception from audiences. The premiere confirmed the album’s ability to communicate its narrative and emotional intent through purely instrumental means.
Cōnstellatiō stands as a New Age album rooted in atmosphere, storytelling, and reflection. It invites the listener into a contemplative experience where space becomes memory, and the journey outward ultimately leads inward.
