NIGHT BEYOND

Night Beyond is an album that consists of 13 nocturnes combining the modern western film music sound (a music vocabulary that I have been serving for more than 25 years) through the String Orchestra and Piano to the Mediterranean sound of the Qanun.
Night Beyond is an ode to the Mediterranean Night that has a profound effect on all citizens of the Mediterranean countries.
The night is the most primordial image of ‘All'’ of ‘Everything’, the concept of ‘the protecting Veil’’, but also of the 'Other' that exists out there, the Absolute Darkness or God...
It is a magical image because it unites the past (starlight takes from minutes to many thousands of years to reach us) with the present (the moment we watch it) and the future (it automatically makes us dream of tomorrow).
At the same time, it is the most 'Ephemeral Always'. While it changes very slowly, every night is different, unique, while it seems timeless it contains so much movement…
The Night contains us, and we contain it.
