Miist's Bio includes an extraordinary backstory. 'Abandoned' at 5, survived a terminal cancer diagnosis at 28 (Teen Cancer America Ambassador), learned she had a world class musical gift at 34 years old. Discovered by Narada Michael Walden (Billboard Music Top 10 All time Producer) in 2023. Started releasing commercial music March 2024. In 2024 charted twice on Billboard Pop/AC (#21, #26 ) had the #1 Indie AC Song in USA and the #11 Indie Top 40. She is the first Chinese artist ever to have a Top 25 Billboard Pop/AC hit. Has written over 80 songs, recorded in 3 languages, became an Academy voting member in 3 months.
