1. Please provide us with a brief bio of yourself and your background.

My name is Yussi, I'm a gospel singer, and I’m a lead vocal of Hillsong church global Chinese albums. I’m also a music producer and song writer.

2. What led you to become a talent/artist/influencer/performer/current profession?

Once I had a dream, in the dream I saw nothing bur darkness. I raised my right hand and found there was a gold flute in my hand. I played the flute but there was no sound, but a green straight line come out of the bottom the flute and straightly go to the sky. as soon as the line touched the sky, I saw the sky appeared. The darkness was gone, there was an incredible light lighted up the sky, I saw a hug window opened in the sky, a large crowd facing the light raising their hand worshiping God, I found myself stand on a rock. At that moment I knew what I should do in the rest of my life. The flute in my hand is like a tool which means music that I can use to lead people turn to God. The Rock that I was standing on means the faith in God.

3. Tell us more about your studio/company/academy.

I am an independent musician. I have a student work with me as an assistant.

4. What skills have you learned that will help you in your result and/or performance?

The faith in God makes me fearless.

5. What is your own definition of an impressive performance/show/masterpiece?

For me, the masterpiece that moves my heart must be which can spread love, which can build people’s inner strength, and which can lead the world turn to the truth.

6. What is your creative or ideation process like?

"Love is invisible", this is a song to encourage not only the children with cancer, but also the people in this world who is suffering. Everyone has their own difficulties to deal with, but even if you’re alone and helpless, trust our God in heaven, cause His love is invisible but powerful.

7. What has been the best performance of your career so far?

I had a solo part on a reality TV show called “The Song of China” which was broadcasted by Chinese National TV Channel. That was a special experience in my life so far.

8. Describe the worst performance you have seen. What would you change about it?

I don’t think there is a worst performance. Everyone got his/her on way to express feelings. Every sound means something.

9. Congratulations! As the winner of LIT Talent Awards, what does it mean to you, or your team, to receive this honor?

It keeps me in my calling, made me stand up for what I believed. I’ll keeping producing gospel songs, just like what I want and what I had been called to do.

10. How has winning an international awards help promote you and/or your masterpiece?

Music knows no Borders. It made me believe the whole world is a huge family. We speak different languages but still we know each other by one language that is called love.

11. What are the challenges, for your winning entry, that you faced?

At that time, the director of the mv was in the US and I was in China. It was challenging for him to guide me remotely.

12. What advise you will give to those who are in the same industry and/or are interested with your craft?

I think when we make music for the sake of helping others and love the world, we gain more for ourselves.

13. Who inspired you in your life, and why?

Jesus for sure. He saved my soul.

14. Who do you admire and what did he/she do that motivated you?

My Lord.I once was lost, but now I’m found; was blind but now I see.

17. What is the key that made you succeed? Any parting words of wisdom?

I’m still on my way to success, still got a lot to learn.

18. What is your upcoming masterpiece, that you’re currently preparing, about?

My upcoming work is a song about “calling”. ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,I have sanctified you before you were born. ’God came to Jeremy and said.’ I call you to be a prophet, and you shall speak whatever I command you. Be not afraid of others’ faces, for I’m with you to deliver you.’ That moves a lot, I was called by God too, I decided to follow Jesus for my whole life. But sometimes I forget my words to God. So when I read these chapters again, I feel God talked to my heart, He call me again like the first time He called me. I tell my soul to wake up, listen and follow again.

19. If you could change anything about the entire industry, what would it be?

Love and peace.
