1. Please provide us with a brief bio of yourself and your background.

Born in Japan and based in the U.S., I started to learn piano at the age of 5 and by the age of 8, I had already started to compose. I learned classical piano performance and composition in Japan and graduated from the Berklee College of Music majoring in Film Scoring.

After graduating from Berklee, I began working for recording studios as a composer, arranger and programmer. In addition, I began learning the processes and techniques of how to make CDs. Eventually these experiences led me to create Exotic Dimensions.

Exotic Dimensions is the musical project that assimilates different kinds of music, such as electric, classical, pop and world music, beyond usual genres and styles, not just imitating traditional music.

2. What led you to become a talent/artist/influencer/performer/current profession?

Since I was little, I was interested in traditional cultures, other countries and music. All those inspiration became my project "Exotic Dimensions".

3. Tell us more about your studio/company/academy.

I'm doing my project that is called "Exotic Dimensions". I combine pop/folk music, classical/film score music and traditional music from around the world. The songs are accessible, emotional, mysterious, grand and exotic.

4. What skills have you learned that will help you in your result and/or performance?

First, I learned piano performance with teachers and self taught composition since I was little. And I learned theories of compositions and technology at school and learned how to do the recordings at work place. I'm continuing analyze classical, film scoring, world music and new softwares

5. What is your own definition of an impressive performance/show/masterpiece?

To have a attractive melody lines and counter lines, impressive arrangement and work with great performers and engineers.

6. What is your creative or ideation process like?

When I could find the interesting features in one music genre and could apply to another music genre, I always feel like I can make something interesting.

7. Congratulations! As the winner of LIT Talent Awards, what does it mean to you, or your team, to receive this honor?

It's very honorable. I really appreciate it to who chose my composition and all the people who worked with me.
I'm hoping this connect my song to music industry broadly.

8. How has winning an international awards help promote you and/or your masterpiece?

I think that makes people more interested in my project.

9. What advise you will give to those who are in the same industry and/or are interested with your craft?

Follow your passion and enjoy your creativity!

10. Who inspired you in your life, and why?

So many talented composers in the history and in this present moment.
Whenever I listen to their songs, I always think I want to improve my musical skills.

11. Who do you admire and what did he/she do that motivated you?

So many musicians :) Especially, I love Rachmaninoff and Chopin.

12. Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Yo-Yo Ma

13. What is the key that made you succeed? Any parting words of wisdom?

Sincerity to your work and people you work with.

14. What is your upcoming masterpiece, that you’re currently preparing, about?

I'm working on a middle eastern flavor song that is combined with film scoring style and pop music.
I've been working with some traditional middle eastern musicians and orchestra to create this song.

15. If you could change anything about the entire industry, what would it be?

I would like to make a lot of opportunities or events that connect musicians and their supporters so that musician can
promote their songs more to the world and solve the financial issues.

16. Do you have anything else you would like to add for the interview?

I'm a producer, composer, arranger/orchestrator of the music project named "Exotic Dimensions".
In this project, I try to combine different kinds of music such as pop, electric, classical/ film scoring and traditional music around the world and attempt to make new kind of music that is accessible, emotional, mysterious, grand and exotic.

I wish people find beauty and attractions that each culture has and they understand and respect each other.
