Blue Sky

Blue Sky is a composition for string orchestra written by Andrea Montalbano in February 2022, finalist at MUSICA PER ARCHI - Music Composers’ Competition 2022 – 6th Edition, promoted by KLK New Music.
This piece is characterized by a continuous melodic development, with a suspended sense of tranquillity that arises from the intertwining of the different parts and from the dense writing.
The composition is performed by KLK String Orchestra, conducted by Roman Kreslenko, on April 21, 2022 - Lviv Philharmonic Society - Lviv (Ukraine). The event was promoted and recorded by KLK New Music.
