Song concept: All we want as human beings is to be loved and appreciated. When you feel rejected for just being yourself, it’s one of the worst things that can happen to you. It unfortunately happens to everyone on this planet at some point in life. It’s how wars all start i.e. a personal affront blown way out of proportion. This song is about feeling extremely rejected by people that I was very close to for no reason other than being myself. I am a very optimistic person and songs like this are like a diary entry where you let it all out in a cathartic release and move on. No grudges, no hard feelings, people are just doing their best. Stay positive and let it all go.
