TRANSITION is built around a simple idea: the piano can become a landscape.

Across eleven original compositions, María Parra transforms the acoustic piano from a traditional instrument into the starting point of an expansive sonic world, combining it with atmospheric textures, virtual instrumentation, subtle electronics, strings, and ambient sound design.

The album explores transition itself—between intimacy and space, acoustic resonance and electronic texture, movement and stillness. Each composition represents a different stage of this transformation, while the eleven pieces form a unified musical journey.

Rather than belonging to a single conventional genre, TRANSITION creates its own space between piano, ambient music, cinematic soundscape, and contemporary production.
