d'Z is a Dutch drummer, producer, and songwriter. Since 2018, he has released several singles featuring different vocalists, both male and female. These vocalists include Katie Leone, the former singer of Incognito, and two-time Grammy nominee Sandra St. Victor who has worked with Prince, Curtis Mayfield, Nile Rodgers, and many other legendary artists.
For d'Z, George Michael’s hit song FREEDOM was just the right fit to explore a new arrangement that includes tight horns, a groovy rhythm section, and the soulful voice of none other than Sandra St. Victor. The moment she heard the re-imagined version of FREEDOM, there was not a single hesitation to lending her voice to the song.
