Kobi Arad (Internationally Acclaimed pianist - composer / Stevie Wonder Collaborator) is the first musician to receive Doctorate in the field of Third Stream / Contemporary Improvisation from New England Conservatory. A Grammy Awards voting member - he recently won the Holywood Music in Media Awards for Best Jazz (Sketches of Monk); Independent Music Awards for Jazz Instrumental Album (Segments), LIT Talent Awards (Gold) for Best Experimental Video& Global Music Awards (Silver Medal) for World Music (Makams - Places).


'Michelle' is a catchy love song, albeit an unattainable and imaginary one. It's a musical undertaking that blends the soulful essence of '70s funk with a residue of '60s rock and roll. Composed primarily by Arad, with Jeremy Fury adding a touch of retro '65 and crafting the evocative lyrics, this track takes you on a journey through the complex realm of desire and imagination.

The narrative delves into a universal experience: the pursuit of an idealized, imaginary muse named Michelle. In this love ballad, Michelle becomes the embodiment of the protagonist's deepest longings and hidden fantasies, a symbol of the perfect woman etched in the corridors of his mind. Yet, the song ingeniously confronts the illusion, cautioning that Michelle's spot in the heart is not real, blocking genuine connections with the women in his tangible world.
