Song and Dance album

Song and Dance is the album title and one of the main pieces. Each work is either a song, dance or combination of the two. The album features award winning instrumentalist Cory Barnfield on soprano and alto saxophone. Furthermore, Cory collaborates with Vicki King, piano, Brian McNulty, marimba and Kaelah McMonigle on flute. The album features a world premiere work written for Cory for this album by Spanish composer/saxophonist David Salleras. David’s piece called Cordoba for soprano saxophone and marimba is about the amazing city south of Spain, elegant, with an exciting history with that energy that is difficult to put into words. Mr. Salleras wrote the piece linked to his emotions, and experiences with a flamenco melody to create character and passion.
